About The Position

The position involves operating assembly or molding machines and auxiliary equipment, inspecting parts, and following safety guidelines. The employee will troubleshoot minor machine issues, package parts, and maintain a clean workstation. Daily production reports must be completed accurately, and the employee must notify supervisors of any defects. The role requires staying at the workstation unless on break or authorized to leave.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year previous work experience preferred.
  • Experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform duties independently or in a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including shifts, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assembly or molding machine and auxiliary equipment.
  • Inspect assembled or molded parts/assemblies as processed per work instructions.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor machine problems.
  • Restart machine after repair or notify Automation Technician if repair is unsuccessful.
  • Package parts per work instructions.
  • Notify Line Leads, Quality Inspector, Automation Technician and/or Supervisor of any defects detected.
  • Maintain assigned workstation in an organized and clean manner.
  • Complete daily production report recording scrap and produced parts.
  • Remove old labels from gaylords, boxes, and labels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
