About The Position

The Production Operation at Cardinal Health is responsible for various manufacturing activities, including cost of production, maintenance, process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. The role involves operating light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment, setting up machining machines, making adjustments, and performing maintenance on machines. Employees will check work using prescribed gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure close tolerances, and may monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross train on multiple machines in various departments.
• Inspect in line finished materials and products on line.
• Complete paperwork to ensure quality on product.
• Maintain high levels of productivity and quality output on assigned machines.
• Follow design specifications to produce quality product.
• Troubleshoot machine as needed.
• Follow schedule of production and work with lead/supervisor to ensure production demands are met.
• Push, pull, lift and move up to 30lbs.
