About The Position

The primary duty is to operate various types of machinery including but not limited to Extrusion Saw, Metlsaw, B & O Saw, Cerlobathe bender, Miter Saw, Punch Press, Flat Bed Lasers, and Age Oven. Requirements

• High School Graduate, GED, or HSDE preferred
• One year of manufacturing and/or machine experience preferred
• Must demonstrate computer literacy
• Must pass and maintain written and driving test for forklift certification as well as crane training

Responsibilities

• Feed the necessary raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
• Complete daily machine check sheets and production recording
• Tend to the machine and product to ensure quality and proper operation
• Ensure quality parts are being produced by making frequent quality checks
• Perform typical machine shop and mold press operations to support the assembly floor
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspect outer production, calculate run-outs, pieces from run-out, scrap
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S procedures, rules, and regulations
• Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers
• Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings
