Requirements

• The ability to use a ruler to measure for proper placement of stitching

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• The ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, follow verbal and written directions, write simple correspondence and effectively communicate with others
• The willingness to be cross-trained to operate different styles of sewing machines

Responsibilities

• Complete customer orders for embroidery, engraving or monogramming
• Perform general maintenance such as applying lubrication/oil and wiping rails when prompted on screen
• Mount sewing machine attachments like needles, thread, pattern plates or cutting blades
• Adjust machine guides according to specifications
• Monitor the product quality of the sewing operation to spot problems such as defective stitching, thread breaks or machine malfunctions
• Inspect products for various types of defects or damage, and mark errors
• Separate quality-accepted finished garments for packaging
• Follow all safety guidelines and work instructions
