Responsibilities

  • Use machines to cut, punch, bend, weld, or shape materials into specified components to meet current demands.
  • Set up machines and confirm specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools.
  • Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
  • Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
  • Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
