About The Position

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Production Machine Operator (Woodworking/Veneer) to support manufacturing operations through safe, precise, and quality-focused machine operation. In this role, you will work hands-on in a production environment operating woodworking machinery while carefully handling delicate veneer materials and following detailed work instructions to meet quality standards. This position works in a primarily onsite production environment. May be required to work overtime as production demands require.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience operating production machinery
  • Woodworking or veneer manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of woodworking and veneer production machines, including presses, sanders, shears, and cutting knives
  • Follow detailed work instructions, production specifications, and standard operating procedures
  • Identify, document, and report quality concerns to ensure product standards are met
  • Handle fragile veneer panels with care to prevent damage
  • Assist other production areas and team members as needed to support workflow and output
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
