About The Position

As a Machine Operator 1 you will set up and operate a variety of computer-based automated equipment to manufacture and measure parts. Equipment used may include machines such as Laser Machining Systems, Injection Molding Machines, and Coordinate Measuring Machines. You Make an Impact By: Responsible for the overall operation of manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given to perform production duties. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined outcomes. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work and under close supervision. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 0 - 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent phone and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Works with integrity and ethically and is able to inspire the trust of others.
• Read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Navigate in MS Windows computer environment
• Basic Math skills and comfortable with metric system
• Laser and equipment safety; maintain and practice good safety habits.
• Skilled in an ISO 9001 environment
