The position involves operating machinery and instructing line help to safely meet production, customer, and company goals and requirements. The role supports the company's core values, participates in a safe work environment, and completes necessary observations. The employee will inspect equipment for safety, read and understand production orders, and meet both company productivity and customer quality requirements. The job requires the use of forklifts, cranes, and manual handling of materials, along with proper documentation for materials produced. Good communication with the team, supervisor, and management is essential. The position also involves maintaining promotability to Operator II and Operator III levels. The work environment can be demanding, requiring standing and walking for 8 to 12 hours daily, repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders, and exposure to varying and extreme weather conditions.
