About The Position
Machine Manufacturing Company Duties as an Machine Maintenance Technician : CNC/Machine tool troubleshooting experience (Siemens 840D series) PLC troubleshooting experience (Siemens Step 7 PLC) Identify issues by observing equipment, listening for faults, and using precision tools Disassemble equipment to remove and replace defective parts using hand/power tools and hoists Adjust tooling and equipment components to meet OEM specifications Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability Manage parts and inventory using Maximo, including ordering and tracking supplies Use maintenance resources efficiently to complete repairs Document maintenance activities, reports, and equipment trends Communicate shift updates, issues, and ongoing work between teams Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all procedures Support team objectives and assist with additional tasks as needed Qualifications & Experience required: Skilled in mechanical maintenance and technical troubleshooting Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn and improve Follows safety procedures, including forklift and man-lift operation PLC troubleshooting experience with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills Understanding of shop math and the metric system Proficient in MS Windows and Microsoft Office Willing to work weekends and overtime Experience working at heights and using aerial platforms Ability to lift up to 40 lbs To find out more, simply click Apply or contact James Walden on 773-747-7676 [email protected] This position is commutable from Charleston, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Ladson, Moncks Corner, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Johns Island, James Island, West Ashley Relevant Job Title : "Machine Technician" or "Maintenance Technician" or "Maintenance Lead" or "Maintenance Mechanic" or "Multi-Craft Maintenance" or "Maintenance Lead" All applicants must live in the USA and be eligible to work and live in the USA. Requirements
