About The Position

Temp To Full-Time Machine Maintenance Technician Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm Pay: $18-$21/ hour- weekly pay Location: Waterville, OH Responsibilities: Assemble heat treating furnaces and large generators Will be fitting pieces, piping, running wire, light welding, etc. Will be taking pieces and parts to stage the job and assemble together based off blueprints to build furnaces. Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines per blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Perform MIG/TIG welding and basic fabrication work including cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components. Wire electrical panels, sensors, motors, and control systems according to electrical schematics. Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to ensure proper function before delivery. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately. Use a variety of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and material handling equipment. Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to resolve issues during assembly.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Have 2-3 years' experience with machine assembly/ Maintenance
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years experience with electrical wiring, pipe fitting, and welding preferred
