We are the proven leader in the fan and ventilation market, providing innovative and energy efficient solutions to our business partners and customers.ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician who will help to maintain production and quality by ensuring the proper operation/upkeep of machinery and mechanical equipment in the production department. Machine Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift Your main responsibilities will be: Repair, install and adjust a variety of industrial machines Control downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance and monitoring compliance.Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listen for problems; use precision measuring and test instruments.Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.Execute preventative maintenance plans and maintain PM program on all production equipment.Execute production machinery repairs includes fixing, repairing and performing troubleshooting. Execute production machinery maintenance entails scheduling, planning and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance job duties under the recommendations of the facilities organization Order repair parts and maintain required documentsPerform other work-related duties as assignedEnsure all machinery comply with OSHA safety standards and have all required machine guarding required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with basic hand tools and troubleshooting equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems
• Ability to read & interpret maintenance manuals and schematics
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting & programming preferred
• Ability to communicate with equipment suppliers to aid in troubleshooting.
• Ability to train on 1st or 2nd shift highly preferred
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Organized & resourceful
• Basic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• Formal civilian or military training in the above-mentioned fields or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting & programming preferred
• Ability to communicate with equipment suppliers to aid in troubleshooting.
• Ability to train on 1st or 2nd shift highly preferred
