About The Position
Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. Hadco products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes waterjet, band saws, disc plate saws, and shears. Hadco Metal branches are located strategically in California, Florida, Kansas, New York, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania with transfer stations located throughout the East, Midwest and West allowing nationwide presence and coverage. We are hiring an experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanic, preferably with metal industry experience for our Bensalem, PA facility. This is primarily a 1st shift position Sunday-Thursday.
Requirements
- 5 years of extensive work experience in machine maintenance and equipment repair.
- Experience with CNC and other metal cutting machinery preferred.
- Willing and able to travel on occasion to other branches for assistance.
- Electrical and welding skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed for machine repairs.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CNC and other metal cutting machinery preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Maintenance Manager and staff to ensure all company machinery and equipment are operating at an optimum and safe condition.
- Experienced in diagnosing and repairing machinery and other equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, machine tests, troubleshoot, remove technical issues, and perform emergency repairs.
- Create and maintain schedules for inspecting, servicing, as well as testing machinery and equipment.
- Complete work orders and record performed maintenance activity.
- Install and assemble new machinery and equipment.
- Follow industry best practices, SOPs, LOTO, and other safety guidelines.
