About The Position
As a Machine Learning Scientist at Best Buy, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts in researching, developing, and applying cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms. Your work will focus on building innovative technologies, services, and products that address some of the company's most challenging problems and accelerate Best Buy's core growth. In this role, you will combine your software engineering skills with your knowledge of machine learning and AI algorithms to contribute to a team that develops and operationalizes models, algorithms, and production-quality codebases. These elements will form the core engines that drive the next generation of customer experiences and transform the day-to-day operations of Best Buy. This position is hybrid, meaning you will work some days on-site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements will vary by role and team, and details will be provided by the recruiter or hiring manager during the hiring process. For this role, you must be located within a drivable distance to the office in Richfield, Minnesota, or Atlanta, Georgia.
