Amazon Games is looking for a Machine Learning Scientist to innovate and integrate advanced machine learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI technologies into game development processes. This role involves collaboration with game development teams to enhance player experiences and streamline workflows through AI-powered tools and features.

  • Research, implement, and productionize ambitious and complex AI/ML services for Amazon Games.
  • Collaborate with game team engineers, designers, and artists to design, develop, and integrate new generative AI tools into developer workflows.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems that affect the quality of life for players, operations, and other developers.
  • Stay up to date with and analyze the latest advancements in generative AI technology, and continuously improve product features.
  • Master's degree or above in math/statistics/engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline.
  • 3+ years of programming in Java, C++, Python or related language experience.
  • 3+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in applied research.
  • 1+ year of experience in mentoring junior colleagues and/or contributing as a leader by interviewing, managing a team or similar.
  • 1+ year of experience in Game development (or similar entertainment field) including working with game designers and artists.
  • One or more years of building applications using ML or RL techniques.
  • One or more years of building applications using Gen AI techniques.
  • Experience in designing, deploying ML/RL services and making them ready for production.
  • Experience building ML/AI products for games.
  • Experience working with Game development teams including game designers and artists.
