About The Position

Nissan’s Advanced Technology Center in Silicon Valley (NATC-SV) works at the cutting edge of transportation technology, helping define the future of mobility. We are researchers, scientists, engineers, and makers that collaborate with world class technical groups and leadership in North America, Asia, Europe, and beyond. About Our Projects The EV & Energy Services team brings together machine learning researchers, data scientists, operations researchers, engineers, and business leaders. We work on smart cities infrastructure, large-scale EV charging orchestration (Vehicle Grid Integration, VGI), driver behavior modeling, and intelligent battery health management. Our team develops and leverages state-of-the art technology to maximize the value of EV battery assets. We create services that increase usage of renewable energy in the power grid, reduce costs of charging through large-scale price arbitrage, and help preserve the residual value of customers' EVs. We have an open position for a Machine Learning Research Intern to join our team in Silicon Valley, CA for Summer 2026. We’re looking for candidates who are motivated to apply their technical expertise to solve real problems in the sustainability and mobility spaces.
