Team Overview:
Impinj is seeking a Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Intern specializing in DevOps catered for Machine Learning to join our Solution Engineering Team. In this position, you will play a critical role in automating the deployment and maintenance of production ML Models for RFID solutions on the Edge.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Programming: Proficiency in Python (specifically libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn)
• Strong command of Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus
• Exposure to cloud platforms
• Clear communication skills and ability to document technical information for a variety of intended audiences

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with at least one major ML framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases for storing high-volume event data
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or Airflow

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the ML Data scientists and the MLOps team to build a cloud-based model monitoring tool that can track model performance, drift and bias, data quality, etc.
• Contribute to other MLOps efforts such as building CI/CD pipelines for ML development and deployment, data versioning, etc.
