Machine learning Intern We have an exciting internship opportunity at MACOM’s Morgan Hill Operations for an intern in the summer of 2026. Your skills, interests, and knowledge related to information systems, business operations, data analysis, and problem solving will be key to your success, in addition to your attention to detail and an enthusiasm for a continuing string of great accomplishments. Requirements
- Candidate must be presently pursuing BSEE in Electrical and Computers Engineering
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience using MS Office
Nice To Haves
- Preferred skills include Python, SQL, and/or relevant tools.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the set-up of the manufacturing floor for palettes.
- AOI inspection of palettes and Data Analysis.
- Apply machine learning to AOI to minimize false fails.
- Leverage machine learning for automating the process.
- Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
- Gain hands on experience
- Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
- Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
- Attend networking/social events
- Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
- Receive formal, written feedback
