About The Position

We’re looking for an ML Engineer to support end‑to-end data operations and analytics across key initiatives within our US Segment. In this role, you’ll own data pipelines, productionize data science solutions, build tables and databases, and work with a variety of internal and external partners to understand, acquire, and transform complex datasets. You’ll contribute to analytics and reporting for projects of moderate scope, generate actionable insights, and translate technical findings into clear business language. You’ll also help measure model effectiveness, mentor junior team members, and leverage your strong understanding of programming, data querying, and visualization tools. This position is ideal for someone who is curious, collaborative, and able to connect data across diverse systems while supporting solutions that drive broader business strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages and concepts (g. Java, Sequel, C, SAS, SPSS, R (different modules) or Python)
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI
  • Advanced knowledge of data transformation to support BI Reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of common database querying languages such as SQL.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, or Engineering; or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent technical experience

Nice To Haves

  • Capability of applying a systematic, structured approach to explore / navigate / mine massive amount of data, structured or un-structured, to uncover hidden patterns / insights.
  • Strong working knowledge of relational database models ( data vaulting techniques, rules tables).
  • Advanced knowledge in distributed computing - Hadoop/ NoSQL/unstructured data
  • Basic understanding of different techniques and knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
  • Basic knowledge of AI toolkits.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical tests, distributions, maximum likelihood estimators, statistical modelling techniques (regression, cluster / factor / principle components, decision tree, survival analysis, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Support data operations lifecycle of AA projects - Input into the approach and Owns and manages assigned tasks.
  • Develops and implements ad-hoc and business analytics and reporting on projects of moderate scope
  • Own data pipeline and productionizing
  • Identify and gain access to sources of data with limited assistance from senior team members.
  • Work with internal and external team members to understand the data; present findings to the team.
  • Document the acquired data via standard team templates; present findings to the team
  • Create appropriate tables and DBs
  • Work with internal and external team members to code DS's solution in production system, coach junior team members.
  • Acquire data to measure effectiveness of the solution, present findings to internal and external peers, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope / complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Ability to generate relevant, actionable insights based on iterative data analysis, translate data-driven output into business language, and to make appropriate recommendations to respective business stakeholders
  • Strong ability to extract, transform and stage data for consumption by the data scientist leveraging data querying tools
  • Provides analysis on datasets of significant complexity.
  • Quickly able to develop enough business insight to connect data sources across multiple diverse and complicated systems.
  • Communicates business analytics of moderate complexity to more senior team members and junior business partners
  • Works closely with subject matter experts to understand data sources.
  • Has intimate understanding of the business value chain and customer lifecycle for the projects they are supporting.
  • Has fundamental understanding of the business as a whole.
  • Curious and asks the right kinds of questions of peers and customers to gain knowledge.
  • Establishes an internal network and leverages the network of more senior data analysts.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to more junior team members
