For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Software Engineer. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Machine Learning Engineer. Project Summary AIS is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for an AI Engineering contract supporting a federal customer in a hybrid role in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or closely related degree).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Software Development, Machine Learning, and/or AI Engineering.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Python, Python DS Tech Stack (tensorflow, scikit-learn, pandas, etc.), Kubernetes, Postgres, and Docker.
  • Must have a strong Python background.
  • Must have a proven track record of building data pipelines, managing the full data lifecycle, and developing and deploying software into production in government environments.
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • A certification in Data Science, AI, or another related certification is preferred, but not required.
