What you’ll do Work on Wayfinding projects that impact the business and contribute to Transcarent’s mission of better health and care You'll gain exposure to how a real engineering team works, from sprint planning to shipping code You’ll be exposed to experienced engineers from all backgrounds (web development, mobile, API, Salesforce, etc.) You'll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout your internship period What we’re looking for Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and Python. Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering, including concepts like tool-use, retrievalaugmented generation (RAG), and structured outputs Familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph, including building agentic workflows, tool calling pipelines, and multi-step orchestration patterns. Experience working with ML evaluation methods, such as benchmarking, automated testing, rubric-based grading, or model performance analysis. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate across engineering, product, and research teams. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Nice to have Experience with tools like LangChain, Langsmith, and Snowflake. Coursework or project work involving building agents with RAG capabilities. Basic understanding of Git and version control workflows.
