Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a US-based University in a PhD program majoring in computer science, computer engineering, data science/analytics, or a related field.
• Knowledge or experience in machine learning, data science, computer vision, statistics, and mathematics.
• Programming skills in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with relational (SQL) and no-SQL databases.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
• Experience with deep learning/AI frameworks like Pytorch, Tensorflow, or Caffe.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Participate in research and development of next-generation product differentiation features with ML/AI engineers.
• Learn innovative new technologies in Machine Learning, AI, and High Performance Compute.
• Analyze and implement changes to algorithms to improve AI performance and user experiences.
• Work on machine learning techniques to build applications for source code analysis and Image Corruption Detection.
• Research, develop, and deploy machine learning-based and computer vision products on AMD's current and future products.
• Fix and address problems with deployed AI to improve user experience.
• Support AI software teams with roadmap planning, collateral development, and customer engagements.
