About The Position

A Software Developer I will work in a team environment by providing expert-level support and perform any combination of technical and functional analysis, design, research, programming, testing, deployment, maintenance, periodic enhancement, general computing applications, network operations, development and documenting software’s developed. Coordinate and document operational specifications and formulate software requirements. Also, perform various other duties and participate with special projects as needed. This is a team-oriented position with a drive towards creativity and excelling in workmanship of developed product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), or related IT field required.
  • 2+ years C# .NET.
  • 2+ years of ADO.NET.
  • 2+ years of ASP.NET.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience.
  • Strong proficiency in RESTful, SOAP and WCF Services.
  • Strong proficiency in Source Control.
  • Strong proficiency in MVC/MVVM application development.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET 4.0 or later.
  • Minimum 2+ years of in-job computer programming experience in C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server
  • Experience developing multi-threaded application software.
  • Excellent organizational, follow up, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use mathematical and software engineering skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer languages, excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and management.
  • Works well in a team environment

  • Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan installation of new system or modification or an existing system.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Supports and develops software developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
  • Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
  • Direct and develop software system testing and procedure validation.
  • Ability to monitor and ensure system operation and specifications conformance.
  • Consult with and advise management and departments regarding project status, proposals and technical issues for software maintenance and design.
  • Perform various other duties, projects and activities as assigned by supervisor or manager within the physical constraints of the job
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules confidentiality practices and company policies of Weatherford.
