About The Position

Milacron is looking for a Machine Installation Technician to join our team in Batavia, OH. In this position, you will accompany the rigging crew on all two-piece or larger machine installations. You will be responsible for ensuring each machine is reassembled in accordance with Milacron factory specifications. This position plays a critical role in validating the customer warranty at the time of installation and significantly reducing warranty costs by preventing issues related to improper installation. Work You’ll Do: Conduct pre-shipment review of the machine to verify condition and configuration prior to leaving the facility Review OSS option content and prepare required tooling for field reassembly Travel to customer sites to oversee machine loading and unloading, ensuring proper rigging and preventing damage Partner with riggers on-site to ensure proper installation of major components, including machine leveling Complete all hydraulic and electrical internal connections for components removed prior to shipment Review the final installation report with the customer and rigging company; obtain required sign-offs upon completion Who we are: Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • 1+ year of machine assembly or related mechanical experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings; ability to read electrical schematics a plus
  • Proficient in the use of precision measurement tools (e.g., levels, micrometers)
  • Strong communication skills with customers, riggers, and internal teams
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as business needs require
