Requirements

• Must be a reliable, efficient self-starter with initiative and a sense of responsibility
• Ability to communicate to others to convey information effectively, by telephone, in written form, email, and in person
• Ability to keep accurate and detailed records and field notes
• Valid Driver's License and considered insurable by insurance standards

Responsibilities

• Support machine control system installations and troubleshoot system errors
• Perform system repairs, routine maintenance, and software upgrades
• Comprehensive ability to read construction plans and understand contract documents
• Create 3D digital terrain models based on project documents for use in automated machine control grading equipment
• Verify the presence and accuracy of survey control information and perform site calibrations
• Set supplemental control and complete level loops
• Assemble and transfer all job packets to the field crews
• Develop and maintain company standards for AMG to ensure conformance with the project plans
