Machine Builder and Assembly

We are currently looking for a Machine Builder who is passionate about machinery and enjoys the process of taking things apart, understanding how they work, and reassembling them. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a company that combines the feel of a small business with the compensation and benefits typically associated with larger corporations. The role is full-time on the first shift, from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, and is a direct hire for the right candidate. As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for the assembly of machines by following blueprints and other written or verbal specifications. This includes a variety of tasks such as drilling, tapping, or reaming holes using drill presses, aligning components, and securing them together with hand tools or portable power tools. You will also be involved in installing moving parts like shafts, levers, and bearings, as well as removing burrs and other small metal particles using hand files and grinders. Additionally, you may be required to bend and install pipes for hydraulic systems and install wiring and other electrical components. Throughout these processes, you will need to verify alignment and tolerances using measuring instruments and assist in testing the operation of the completed product. Accurate documentation of your work is essential, and maintaining a neat and organized work area is expected.
