ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate CMM equipment to inspect parts in accordance with inspection plans and engineering drawings. Load parts, run pre-programmed CMM programs, and verify measurement results. Accurately document inspection results in accordance with in-process and final inspection requirements. Perform basic dimensional inspections using hand-held measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) as needed. Identify and report nonconforming conditions to the appropriate personnel. Ensure traceability and proper documentation of inspected parts. Follow work instructions, inspection plans, and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain inspection equipment and work area in a clean and organized condition. Notify supervisor or quality team of equipment issues or program discrepancies. Adhere to company safety requirements and quality system procedures. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED preferred Prior experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment preferred Experience with CMM operation or quality inspection is a plus, but not required for entry-level roles JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and documentation Basic computer skills for data entry and inspection recordkeeping Ability to follow standardized work instructions and procedures Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Willingness to learn CMM operation and inspection processes PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Light to moderate physical exertion required Lifting/carrying maximum lbs.: 25–50 Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
