About The Position

Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Chicopee, MA manufacturing plant. Experienced Machine Adjuster $22/hr or higher depending on experience 2 positions are opened on 1st shift 7am -- 3pm (for experienced candidates) Additional positions are opened on 2nd & 3rd shifts 5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required Trainee Machine Adjuster $20/hr or higher depending on relevant experience + shift premium on 2nd & 3rd shifts Positions are available on 2nd & 3rd shifts for this position 4+ years of Intermediate to Advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, etc. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance. Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.). Must be able to work in hot or cold weather. Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs. Requirements

5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required (Experienced Machine Adjuster)
4+ years of Intermediate to Advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, etc. (Trainee Machine Adjuster)
Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.
Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
Flexibility required with machine assignment.
The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role.
