About The Position

- The MA Therapist - Licensed at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to address mental health and emotional issues. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy sessions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

Requirements

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Must possess a valid state license as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting.
Experience in providing individual, group, and family therapy.
Proven track record of working with diverse populations and age groups.
Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
Proficient in documentation and maintaining accurate client records.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle crisis situations effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices.
Engage in community outreach and education efforts to promote mental health awareness and services offered by LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of clinical practice, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in client interactions.
