Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.
• Minimum of 24 months of Medical Assistant experience in the last 36 months preferred.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in a clinic setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working under the direction of a licensed health care professional.
• Completion of the order entry competence program within 60 days after obtaining the required Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to rural clinics as well as the metro Oklahoma City area to assist with coverage for the physician clinics.
• Assist with daily clinic patient care such as patient flow, taking patients history and vitals, assisting with diagnostic testing, maintenance of medical supplies and other duties as assigned.
• Float or travel to OHHP locations to fill in for clinical positions on an as-needed basis, following all policies and procedures.
