About The Position

Provide technical, maintenance support and continuity to customers and users of complex combat vehicle platforms and fire control systems on a world-wide basis to achieve and maintain system readiness. Support includes technical assistance and advice, technical data collection and reporting. Is the operating systems expert on vehicles and responds as the first point of contact for field problem identification.

Requirements

Able to provide technical assistance troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing M109 Family of Vehicles (FoV) vehicles.
Knowledge of system operation, assembly and subassembly troubleshooting, component and system fault isolation and repair.
Knowledge of all levels of repair for military maintenance systems and appropriate technical manuals and engineering data.
Interpret and use all types of engineering drawings and schematics.
Detail understanding of system troubleshooting techniques.
Proficient in vehicle operation, mechanics and electronics.
Experienced in the mechanical/electronic field of relevant military products.
At least 4-5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing the M109 FoV military artillery equipment. Former military experience is requested but not required.
An associate's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of recent specialized experience.
