M&S System Engineer
About The Position
Missile Modeling & Simulation Engineer On-site in Schriever AFB, CO Target salary range: $75,000 - $130,000.00 Responsibilities: Review customer scenario requests and identify potential issues before production begins Generate high-resolution kinematic trajectories using the Threat Modeling & Simulation Suite (TMSS) Troubleshoot modeling products, trajectory outputs, and supporting data sets Review final deliverables to verify customer objectives are met and specifications are accurately represented Partner closely with Systems Engineering and Software Development teams to support and improve internally developed tools Support delivery of Integrated Threat Products for MDA and other DoD customers Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Active Top Secret Clearance required Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM-related field 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 0+ years with a Master’s degree Experience in modeling and simulation Knowledge of missiles and six degrees of freedom (6 DoF) trajectory representation Familiarity with missile defense system components and their interoperability Understanding of Linux and Windows platforms and associated software environments Experience with test, troubleshooting, and quality control On-site requirement: Must work on-site daily at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of missile targeting, allocation, and Red Force laydowns Experience with infrared signatures and radar cross section (RCS) Experience in systems engineering Experience in software development and testing Experience working in Agile environments Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency, especially Ground Test exercises/events Ability to lead projects and coordinate technical task execution Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer What to Expect Moseley Technical Services, Inc. Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
