Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, or Accounting. Master's degree preferred
  • At least 3 - 4 years relevant work experience
  • Work experience with a Big Four or national accounting firm is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience integrating tax technology solutions such as Alteryx, Power Query and Power BI
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • Advanced credential is a plus (i.e. CPA)

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare tax returns
  • Collaborate with engagement team to identify and research complex client issues and recommend solutions
  • Assist in project management of compliance and consulting engagements
  • Draft technical tax memoranda
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot tax tools as needed
  • Analyze and build reports from large Excel data sets
  • Identify and drive opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Develop impactful monthly/quarterly metrics and reporting
  • Strong understanding of tax-related data analytics
  • Planning, designing and building packages for Andersen Compliance and Provision processes
  • Planning, designing and building data analytics solutions with Alteryx, Excel, and Power Query
