About The Position

The M&A Integration Project Director will be a key member of the Business Development team, which focuses on M&A, partnerships and other strategic opportunities. This role is an opportunity to build a new function from the ground up as the company’s first M&A integration hire. This role will work closely with the senior leadership team and internal cross-functional stakeholders to directly impact Privia’s growth. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple high-stakes M&A projects simultaneously. The candidate should also have an interest in learning more about healthcare services, particularly value-based care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in a project management position managing complex projects
  • 2+ years managing projects in corporate development or M&A, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • PMP required
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously
  • Must have excellent top-management communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and work well with teams, and potential to develop internal client relationships
  • Experience with project management tools, including Monday.com
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and project manage cross-functional workstreams for all parts of M&A deal integration
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication strategies, bringing together individual plans for each business and function involved
  • Develop and monitor integration budgets
  • Serve as key team member in ensuring the appropriate escalation of issues to internal teams
  • Lead and manage business development projects from initial assessment to due diligence, to deal close and post-deal integration
  • Responsible for overall and day-to-day project management of key deals, including anticipating, monitoring, managing, and reporting/escalating key deal issues
  • Create playbooks and processes as the foundation for future M&A and partnerships
  • Support outreach campaigns to prospective provider organizations
  • Other duties as assigned
