About The Position

This role exists to drive the successful execution of M&A transactions by providing strategic financial analysis, project leadership, and client support throughout the deal lifecycle. It plays a critical part in enabling the firm to deliver high-impact advisory services, deepen client relationships, and identify new business opportunities in a competitive investment banking environment. This role can be based in any of our US offices.

Requirements

  • 3 years of investment banking experience.
  • Deep experience working on M&A transactions (execution, financial modeling, due diligence).
  • Proven track record of handling complex projects with minimal oversight.
  • Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and deal structuring.
  • Highly proficient in creating and reviewing transaction documents.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong time management, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
  • Series 79 and 63 (required in the U.S. under FINRA).

Nice To Haves

  • CFA (not required, but may be seen as a plus).
  • MBA (not required, but may be seen as a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of M&A transactions (both buy-side and sell-side).
  • Build and oversee complex financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models, accretion/dilution).
  • Draft and review pitch materials, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and board materials.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes across internal and external stakeholders (lawyers, accountants, consultants).
  • Manage analysts and oversee their output-ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal deal teams.
  • Help manage timelines and workflow across multiple live deals and pitches.
  • Support MDs in preparing for and participating in client meetings.
  • Occasionally interact directly with clients, especially during deal execution.
  • Help prepare pitch books and support MDs in developing new business.
  • Perform industry and company research to identify potential deal opportunities.

Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range $120,000 - $125,000.
  • Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
