About The Position

We’re seeking a Senior Associate, M&A and Strategic Finance to join our Finance team in New York City. This high-impact, visible role will report directly to the SVP of Finance, who leads FP&A, M&A, and Investor Relations, and will play a key role across these strategic areas to help drive growth, value creation, and financial excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong transactional and capital markets experience, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative, team-first mindset. You’ll be a core contributor across all stages of M&A — from sourcing and diligence to valuation, deal execution, and post-close integration — while helping shape our investor relations agenda and supporting high-impact strategic finance initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the C-suite, private equity sponsors, and institutional lenders at a PE-backed, global organization with a dynamic, growth-oriented culture.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategic finance
  • Strong transactional experience with hands-on involvement in M&A execution and valuation modeling
  • Exposure to capital markets, investor relations, or lender communications preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the M&A lifecycle, including target sourcing, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, and integration planning
  • Develop and maintain detailed transaction models to assess financial impact, synergies, and ROI
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Strategy, FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, and Rev Ops to evaluate opportunities and risks
  • Prepare materials for Investment Committee and Board review
  • Support quarterly reporting, Board materials, and communications with PE sponsors and institutional lenders
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards, KPI analyses, and valuation benchmarks
  • Assist in crafting investor messaging and presentations that align with strategic and financial priorities
  • Conduct valuation and competitive analyses by reviewing peer filings, investor materials, and market data to assess comparable companies, precedent transactions, and broader industry trends.
  • Serve as a flex resource for key FP&A initiatives such as forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
  • Lead analytical projects and develop insights to support executive decision-making
  • Help build scalable processes, tools, and frameworks to strengthen the finance organization
  • Identify and recommend improvements in processes and practices when challenges or opportunities arise.
  • Responsibly manage, manipulate, and analyze data to derive meaningful insights.
  • Communicate confidently and clearly, both verbally and in written materials.
