The Lytle Preserve (LP) is located about 36 miles west of St. George, Washington County, Utah, and functions as a nature preserve as well as an education and research center under the direction of Brigham Young University (BYU). The LP site manager resides at the field station and works on site to maintain safety and manage operations of the 570 acres that make up the LP. The site manager is the first contact for guests visiting the LP and is responsible for providing orientation and for facilitating some guest activities. The site manager reports directly to the Director of the Bean Life Science Museum.
