About The Position

Make Reliability Your Craft Support the performance and uptime of lyophilizers and related plant systems while upholding stringent quality and safety standards. What You Will Do Keep assigned areas clean and organized at the end of each shift through rigorous housekeeping practices. Manage and keep current a spare parts inventory for equipment and systems in your scope. Execute maintenance activities in strict alignment with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, job plans, and corporate policies. Author and update SOPs and work/job plans to reflect best practices. Contribute to the creation of a detailed, individualized training plan to deepen maintenance and operations knowledge across the plant. Troubleshoot equipment and system events precisely and participate in thorough failure analyses to identify root causes. Collaborate with outside contractors as needed to deliver projects or augment internal teams. Engage with cross-functional teams to drive equipment performance and reliability improvements. Model a visible commitment to HSE, Lean principles, and other corporate initiatives in daily work. Perform additional duties and projects within the scope of the position and follow Athens Site policies and procedures. What You Bring High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years combined education/training/experience in one or more disciplines: Utility Operations/Maintenance, Process Equipment Maintenance, Control Systems, HVAC Operations/Maintenance, or Fire Systems Maintenance. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with effective communication. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Working knowledge of processes, systems, and available resources. Proficiency with computers and digital tools. Proficiencies Preventive Maintenance & Inspection Maintenance and Repair Skills Standards You’ll Live By All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and job plans, and in compliance with corporate policies and Athens Site procedures, ensuring equipment reliability and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years combined education/training/experience in one or more disciplines: Utility Operations/Maintenance, Process Equipment Maintenance, Control Systems, HVAC Operations/Maintenance, or Fire Systems Maintenance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with effective communication.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of processes, systems, and available resources.
  • Proficiency with computers and digital tools.
