Aspen Private Duty Nursing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide 1:1 care for a patient living with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in the home setting in Irving, Texas. Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Texas RN/LVN license
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ALS, neurological, or medically complex patients preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in a 1:1 home setting
- Monitor respiratory status and neurological changes associated with ALS
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and document accurately
- Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity
- Communicate effectively with care team, and family members
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
