About The Position

Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team. The LVN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being in a supportive healthcare environment. Requirements

  • Current and active LVN license in the state of California
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of basic nursing practices, procedures, and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document residents’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition
  • Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulations
  • Observe and report any changes in patient condition to supervising RN or physician
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
  • Provide emotional support and compassionate care to residents and their families
