About The Position

Sanctuary Treatment Center is currently looking for LVN's for 12 hour overnight shifts at our detox and residential facilities! The LVN is responsible for providing a variety of nursing services which focus on prevention, treatment, education, and rehabilitation of the physical and mental health of the client. The LVN collaborates as a member of a the treatment team to develop and implement effective treatment strategies. Availability, we are currently looking for: Full Time positions with benefits 12 hr shifts 9pm-9am (3 days a week) weekend availability required

Requirements

Attainment of at least 18 years of age.
LVN licensure required. Possession of a valid license/certificate of registration issued by the California Board of Nursing Education and Nurse registration is required.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance.
Hiring is contingent upon completion of a TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical.
Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
Renewal Health Group is subject to the CA state vaccine records mandate for all healthcare workers; all employees must provide vaccination records or complete a waiver statement.

Experience working in a substance use facility preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with self-administration of medication and records clients vital signs.
Conducts initial intake assessments and evaluations, including detox protocols.
Ensures accurate documentation of medication and lab orders
Observes clients, charting and reporting changes in client conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment and takes any necessary action.
Answer client questions regarding medication orders and determines how to assist them.
Responsible for the management and organization of medication room, including supply inventory and equipment compliance.
Evaluates medical concerns and directs clients to emergency medical care when required.
Works with the treatment team and physicians to assess client needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions.
Reviews medication logs, conducts medication counts and requests refills as needed.
Provides monitoring and supervision of clients to support non-clinical staff.
Performs breathalyzer analysis and monitors urine test samples from client. Documents and records results.
