About The Position
Santa Cruz Post‑Acute is seeking an experienced and compassionate LVN Supervisor to provide clinical oversight and leadership on weekends. This part‑time role is ideal for a licensed vocational nurse who enjoys mentoring staff, ensuring quality care, and maintaining smooth day‑to‑day operations in a post‑acute setting.
Requirements
- Active California LVN license in good standing
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- Experience in post‑acute, skilled nursing, or long‑term care strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage weekend operations
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Provide clinical guidance and assist with resident care as needed
- Serve as a resource for staff, residents, and families
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Address and escalate clinical or staffing concerns appropriately
