About The Position

BrightStar in Edinburg Care is hiring compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN)/ Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled Private Duty Nursing (PDN) care to patient in the home setting. Full-time position available! Weslaco Case available: Pediatric Male G-Tube/Wound care Days: Monday-Friday Hours:1pm-4pm Location: school Days: Monday- Friday Hours: 4pm-7pm Patients Location: Home Days: Saturday Hours: 9 am-10pm Location: Patients Home

Requirements

• Must have a good standing license (LVN) in the state of Texas.
• New Grads Welcome!!!
• Current accredited CPR certification
• Current TB test

Responsibilities

• One-to-one patient care in a home/school environment
• Execution of physicians' prescribed plan of care (POC) and compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record.
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies
• Health promotion teaching, and training of family members
