About The Position

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in League City, TX and surrounding areas. The company has been providing care to the medically fragile community nationwide since 2000, operating on values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed (HALOS). Nurses provide direct, one-on-one medical care to infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home setting, making a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families. The role involves focusing on medical needs and treatment according to the active plan of care, conducting ongoing patient assessments, administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, coordinating care, educating family members, and implementing preventative initiatives to protect quality of care.

Requirements

Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
Provide care in a client home setting
Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!

Responsibilities

Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
Coordination of care
Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
