LVN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide direct, one-on-one medical care to medically fragile infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home setting. The role involves focusing on medical needs and treatment according to the active plan of care, conducting ongoing patient care and assessments, administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, coordinating care, educating family members, and implementing preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care. Angels of Care has been providing care across the nation since 2000 and operates with values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!).
- Provide care in a client home setting.
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care.
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient.
