We are currently seeking PRN LVN’s for our Home Health department to: make assessments of Elders, obtaining vitals, listening to their lungs, checking for any changes in conditions or elements.fill medication boxes. Communicates with doctor offices/pharmacy for new orders or refills perform basic daily nursing functions issue proper medications meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner- while maintaining high standards and quality care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.
Nice To Haves
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.
- Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
