About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Pediatrics at SRS Rancho Bernardo is responsible for assisting patients, parents/guardians, staff, and physicians to maintain a high level of operational efficiency and customer service while providing quality care to the pediatric patient population. The position requires a commitment to customer service, adherence to healthcare policies, and effective communication with patients and their families.

Requirements

• Successful completion of LVN/LPN program.
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians - REQUIRED.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association - REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year LVN experience in related clinical area.
• Experience as pediatric LVN highly preferred.
• Ambulatory care experience.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association - PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and guardians to ensure a high level of efficiency and customer service.
• Provide physical assistance to patients as needed.
• Monitor patient flow and physician schedules to ensure quality service.
• Participate in clinical projects as directed by the physician or manager.
• Provide education to patients and guardians on various health topics.
• Maintain patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies.
• Complete quality assurance assignments and ensure department compliance.
