About The Position

The position involves assisting patients (and parents/guardians), staff, and physicians to maintain a high level of efficiency of operations and customer service while providing quality care to the designated pediatric patient population. The role requires successful completion of an LVN/LPN program and a California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license. The position is full-time with a shift from 8 AM to 5 PM, requiring 8 hours of work per day, and does not require weekend or on-call work.

Requirements

• Successful completion of LVN/LPN program.
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians - REQUIRED.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association - REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year LVN experience in related clinical area.
• Experience as pediatric LVN highly preferred.
• Ambulatory care experience.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association - PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and guardians to ensure comfort and efficiency in operations.
• Provide physical assistance to patients as needed.
• Monitor patient flow and physician schedules.
• Maintain appropriate supply levels and participate in site inspections.
• Provide education to patients and guardians on various health topics.
• Complete quality assurance assignments and ensure department compliance.
