About The Position

Requirements

• Successful completion of LVN/LPN program.
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional certification.

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year LVN experience in related clinical area.
• Experience as pediatric LVN.
• Ambulatory care experience.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and guardians to maintain operational efficiency and customer service.
• Provide physical assistance to patients as needed.
• Monitor patient flow and physician schedules.
• Participate in staff training and serve as a preceptor for new staff.
• Complete quality assurance assignments and ensure department compliance.
• Provide direct patient care and perform nursing tasks within the established scope of practice.
• Educate patients and guardians on various health topics.
