About The Position

Works under the supervision of a RN or clinic provider, in the patient care area. Performs a variety of established and approved nursing procedures. This position is represented by RCHEA.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited LVN program
  • Current California LVN license
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Employee must conform with all HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations as required by the job, department, or hospital
  • All associates receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinic/Medical Office experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administers medicines following established policies, including patient observation.
  • Assists in the development of a prioritized interdisciplinary plan of care.
  • Follows established policies for the administration of narcotics.
  • Maintains and meets expectations on time for all competencies, license, certifications and education requirements as outlined by local administration, Adventist Health (AH), The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and all other regulatory agencies.
  • Performs admission intake and ongoing monitoring based on clinic specific policy and procedures.
  • Willingly performs other duties and innovations as assigned.
