About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Maternity Services is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves performing procedures and treatments within the LVN scope of practice, ensuring adherence to established policies and protocols, and delivering excellent customer service in a culturally diverse environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of Vocational Nursing.
• Minimum of six months of experience as an LVN required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.
• Active California Vocational Nursing license (LVN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

• California Intravenous (IV) certification for designated areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate and age-specific direct and indirect patient care.
• Perform designated procedures and treatments requiring technical expertise within the LVN scope of practice.
